I try to be intentional about bringing open ended toys into our home for our grandkids to help avoid an overwhelming atmosphere and this block set absolutely did not disappoint. Truly the possibilities are endless for this set.The set itself seems well made. It’s lightweight enough while also feels sturdy. The wood is smooth and we don’t feel like we have to worry about splinters. We love the neutral wood with the slight pop of color on some of the pieces as well. It’s enough to feel calming, but also enough to make it feel bright and fun for kids at the same time.What really stands out with this set is the unique block shapes. Our grandkids really love that it has stairs. We have several other block sets that we rotate through and the stairs in this set are a major hit for them. The people that come in the set are cute without feeling creepy, but my grandkids still defaulted back to our little Maileg mice, which this set is a great size for.Clean up is easy enough, but plan to help the kiddos with this. I like that it came with a picture to show how to get the blocks back in securely and look beautiful displayed on the shelf.We’re extremely pleased with this set and would highly recommend to others.
