📝Planning is essential, but let it be flexible. Plan for a mixture of activities for everyone in the family to enjoy whilst on a trip. Keep your kids ages in mind. Always have a backup plan in case something goes wrong.

✈️When traveling by plane, children may feel uncomfortable with the noises, turbulence, and being restrained in their seats. Help them by role playing the flight at home. To alleviate ear pain, drinking water, sucking on a lollipop, or breastfeeding can be helpful.

🧸New places can cause anxiety in kids, to help them cope with it, take some of their beloved items. It can be the child’s blanket or favorite toy.

️🧑🧒If the kid is big enough it is a good idea to involve them into planning the trip. Depending on the age it can be choosing a place for dinner or even letting them do their own research in choosing the destination.

🩺To avoid the hassle of looking for a pharmacy in a new place take a first aid kit + commonly used medicine.

👕Pack extra sets of clothes into separate bags and put it to your hand luggage or travel bag.

🎧Check out some sound games like “Simon Says” and “I Spy” – they can help to entertain all the family hands-free: e.g. while waiting in lines.

👜Bring some new toys, stickers and puzzles to entertain the little ones on the way. AVDAR travel sets are perfect fit. This tip works best if you keep the toys secret until the kids start to get bored.
