The AVDAR story began when our elder son was one and a half years old. Many people find their potential and passion when they become parents, and we are the classic case. When we started learning about parenting, we realized how childhood nowadays has changed compared to ours, including the idea of play. We simply couldn't find the toys we wanted our son to play with, so that's when we started making toys ourselves.
Even though our company has grown, we still design the products ourselves and are deeply engaged in all the processes. Our children are now 9 and 5 years old, and they are still the first to test everything that comes out of our workshop.
Brand story
In the Mongolian language AVDAR means a wooden box or furniture piece that stores the most precious things in every family. This cultural inspiration reflects the heart of our brand.
We want our company to be that special box from which you can find beautiful, simple toys, indoor gyms and wooden furniture for children and families, alldesigned with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, quality, and craftsmanship.
Our Team
We have a small, supportive team, with 80% of our members being mothers. Journey of our product starts with moms and afterwards, it reaches the moms who choose AVDAR for their children.
Making wooden toys requires craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each toy is unique, with the natural lines and textures of the wood telling its own story. Every stage is carefully overseen by skilled professionals, ensuring quality throughout the process.

We are small, but enthusiastic team, always open for new projects and ideas. We aim to positively impact our community and engage in different social projects including organizing cleanup events,making charitable donations, and hosing educational tours for children.

AVDAR design event
One of the most exciting events that we hold is our annual Design Event. Starting from 2021 anyone can become a toy designer with AVDAR just by submitting artwork on the dedicated topic.
We receive beautiful designs from all over the world, from both children and adults. After a difficult selection process, we choose one winner, whose design is customized into a toy and produced as a limited collection. You can find the previous year's winning designs in the Puzzle Blocks Section
