This year the brief is one word. WILD. I want the next wooden block set to start as your drawing.
We put the call on Instagram. Under the title there is one line, and it is the whole assignment: now it is your turn to show us what WILD means to you. A forest. An animal. Weather. A child who will not sit still. Draw it as blocks, on the sheet, and send it in.
What WILD is asking for
I am not asking for a slogan. I am asking for a wooden block set that could be cut, sanded, and held. WILD can be a place, an animal, or a feeling. It has to live as blocks. A painting we cannot produce is a beautiful page, and it is not this call.
There are two sheets, a square and a round one. Use the one that fits the idea. Both are the design template. Fill one. You do not need both.

What we do with the designs we choose
We look at what comes in. The designs we choose are made into limited-edition solid wood sets and sold. I mean made in the workshop and put up for a family to buy. A drawing that stays a drawing is not the end I am working toward.
I am not adding a prize list, a winner count, or an age rule here. I have not set those, and I will not invent them to make the page look finished. The date is set. The way in is Submit Design. For the designs we choose, the outcome is a set we make and sell.
